Parley Vous Franquais ?

Hey!
I just arrived in Rivere Du Loup (Translating to Wolf River) Quebec a couple of days ago! I left Moosonee on the 22. (My luggage left two days ahead of me because of the tinyness factor of the plane. If it hadn`t it would have taken a week to catch up!) and landed in Timmins where we went to rotation camp, basically a place where you chill until it`s time to leave for your next placement! For those that know Ontario, we where located near Moonbeam, a small french town, population 200. It was hot and sunny for a change since on the day we left Moosonee it was snowing! We left the rotation camp at 2 am on the 24th! (With the time change thats midnight in Saskatoon) and loaded all our stuff on the bus. It took 2 1é2 hours to reach Timmins and the airport was closed since Our plane didn`t leave until 6:00am but they let us in anyway even though there was just 1 security guard in the whole place. Since there was almost 25 of us we got a lot of wierd looks (Because of the insane amount of luggage we all were dragging around with us) So long story short, we flew from Timmins to Toronto to Montreal then loaded up on another bus with a totally Quebecois bus driver (He gave me a lot of wierd looks. God knows what he thought I was saying) and enbarked on a fun filled 5 hour trip to Rivere Du Loup. Our house is located on the `broncs` wherever that is but is only a short walk from downtown and a bunch of neat buildings! We were the mnority in Moosonee (80% Cree town) and no we are the minority again! It really changes your perspective on things. Out Progect leader Isabell is mostly french but she does know some english. We live in an apartment (A big one) but it is very nice. All our job placements are totally french so were are really going to have to really pull up our socks in that department! I hope the work partners are good at charades!
Wow! I can hardly believe this is my last 3 months here. In August I`ll be back and you`ll think I never left! Talk to you guys soon!
